The Oodua Youth Parliament (OYP) has passed a vote of confidence on the leadership of the Imo State Police Command, commending its intensified crackdown on kidnapping and other violent crimes across the state.

The Assistant Inspector-General (AIG) of Police in charge of Zone 5 Headquarters, Benin, Mr Salman-Dogo Garba, has ordered the strategic deployment of police personnel and operational assets across the zone to ensure a peaceful yuletide celebration.

The Inspector-General of Police (IGP), Mr Kayode Egbetokun, on Monday, inaugurated a newly constructed ultra-modern Divisional Police Headquarters in the Eleshin area of Ikorodu, Lagos State.
The project was facilitated by the lawmaker representing Ikorodu Federal Constituency, Rep. Babajimi Benson, with support from the Nigeria Police Trust Fund (NPTF).
