The House of Representatives has withdrawn its proposed constitutional amendment bill on the establishment of state police and will instead consider a similar Executive Bill transmitted by President Bola Tinubu.
The decision was announced during Tuesday’s plenary after the Executive-sponsored bill passed its first and second readings.
The self-styled Director-General of the purported Presidential Foreign Intervention Promotion Council (PFIPC), Prince Adeniyi Adeyemi, has been arrested by the police.
