N’Delta MSME empowers three entrepreneurs with N3m grants

The Niger Delta Micro, Small and Medium Enterprise (NDMSME) on Wednesday awarded business support grants to young entrepreneurs in Bayelsa.

The fifth edition of the grant initiative, titled Enhancing the Role of MSMEs as Drivers for Sustainable Growth and Innovation, was held at Pee’s Hub, Opolo, in the Bayelsa State capital, Yenagoa.

The Warri Field Office of the Nigerian Midstream and Downstream Petroleum Regulatory Authority (NMDPRA) has made notable progress, ranging from improving regulatory compliance among marketers to enforcing safety standards across depots, gas facilities, and retail outlets.

Godwin Ikomi, the Delta State Coordinator of NMDPRA, made the disclosure on Thursday while celebrating the Fourth Anniversary of the Authority with the staff of the Warri Field Office.

Ikomi attributed the achievements to the dedication, loyalty, and professionalism of thestaff.

He emphasised that the collective efforts of the staff would continue to reflect the authority’s vision of operational excellence.

The KEFFESO Host Communities Development Trust (KEFFESO HCDT) in Bayelsa on Thursday announced revenue of N15.259 billion for the 2024 fiscal year at its Annual General Meeting (AGM) in Yenagoa.

The KEFFESO HCDT is funded by the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited/First Exploration and Petroleum Development Company Joint Venture.
