The chairman of Ijede Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Lagos State, Ms Motunrayo Gbadebo-Alogba, has empowered vulnerable residents with ₦50,000 cash grants as part of her administration’s welfare initiative.
The CitizenDiary reports that the programme, tagged “Ijede–Tunrayo Empowerment Cash Grant,” is the second edition since Gbadebo-Alogba began her second term in office.
The Inspector-General of Police (IGP), Mr Kayode Egbetokun, on Monday, inaugurated a newly constructed ultra-modern Divisional Police Headquarters in the Eleshin area of Ikorodu, Lagos State.
The project was facilitated by the lawmaker representing Ikorodu Federal Constituency, Rep. Babajimi Benson, with support from the Nigeria Police Trust Fund (NPTF).

An education technology expert, Mr Bayo Jayeola, has called on the government, organisations and institutions to close Nigeria’s skills gap through effective use of Learning Management Systems (LMS) to boost workforce productivity.
