The traditional ruler of Ikorodu, Oba Kabir Shotobi, the Ayangburen of Ikorodu, has urged citizens to support the new tax reform, describing it as a progressive measure aimed at protecting poor and vulnerable Nigerians.
Shotobi appealed when he visited the hospital to distribute gifts to the first baby of the year on Thursday in Ikorodu, Lagos.
The National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) under the Federal Government Special Intervention on Wednesday, distributed
relief materials to persons affected by erosion and flood disasters in Ikot Abasi/Mkpat Enin/Eastern Obolo federal constituency of Akwa Ibom.

The Chairman of the Institute of Chartered Mediators and Conciliators (ICMC), Akwa Ibom State Chapter, Dr Rosalyn Essien, has earned an Executive Professional Doctorate Degree in Public Administration and Leadership (DPAL).

Senator Ned Nwoko (APC–Delta) on Tuesday expressed concern over persistent infrastructural deficits in Delta State, challenging the leadership of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) during the scrutiny of its 2025 budget.

The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) has confirmed a fatal road traffic crash involving a vehicle conveying world-renowned boxer, Anthony Joshua, and a stationary truck along the Lagos–Ibadan Expressway in Ogun State.
Olusegun Ogungbemide, Assistant Corps Marshal, Corps Public Education Officer, Federal Road Safety Corps Headquarters, Abuja, said the crash happened on Monday, December 29, 2025, around the Sinoma area near Sagamu, according to a statement from the Ogun Sector Command of the FRSC.
