NOA urges unity against insurgency

The National Orientation Agency (NOA) has called on Nigerians to remain united in the fight against insurgency and other security threats confronting the country, while commending security agencies for the successful rescue of abducted pupils and teachers in Oyo State.

The Director-General of the agency, Mallam Lanre Issa-Onilu, made the call in a statement issued in Abuja on Monday.

The National Orientation Agency (NOA) has called on Akwa Ibom citizens of voting age to ensure they participate in the ongoing Continuous Voter Registration (CVR) exercise to enable them to vote in future elections.

The State Director of NOA, Mr Mkpoutom Mkpoutom, said this on Thursday when he played host to Mr Obo Effanga, Akwa Ibom Resident Electoral Commissioner, Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), in his office.
