The National Orientation Agency (NOA) has called on Nigerians to remain united in the fight against insurgency and other security threats confronting the country, while commending security agencies for the successful rescue of abducted pupils and teachers in Oyo State.
The Director-General of the agency, Mallam Lanre Issa-Onilu, made the call in a statement issued in Abuja on Monday.
According to him, NOA will leverage its nationwide presence to amplify key messages on preventive eye care and the early detection of vision-related conditions.
He also highlighted the agency’s newly launched indigenous artificial intelligence chatbot, CLHEEAN—an acronym for Crime and Lawlessness, Health, Education, Environment, Abuse, and Nationalism—as a strategic tool for deepening citizen engagement and promoting behavioural change within communities.

The pledge was contained in a statement released on Sunday and signed by Bala Musa, Director of Communications and Media at the Agency.
According to the statement, the NOA Director General, Malam Lanre Issa-Onilu, committed during a courtesy visit by members of the Presidential Committee on Fiscal Policy and Tax Reforms, led by its chairman, Mr Taiwo Oyedele.
