The Federal Road Safety Corps has deployed 720 personnel across major highways in Akwa Ibom State ahead of the Eid-el-Kabir celebration as part of intensified efforts to prevent crashes, ease traffic congestion and tackle reckless driving.
The Sector Commander, Felicia Kalu, disclosed this in a statement issued in Uyo on Tuesday, warning motorists against dangerous practices capable of causing gridlock and fatal accidents during the festive period.
